Uruguayan-Australian soprano Natasha Isabella Gesto is a second-year Master of Music (Vocal Arts) student and Kovner Fellow at The Juilliard School, studying under Darrell Babidge.  Natasha received her Bachelor of Music and a Graduate Diploma in Music (Opera Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium, where she was a recipient of the Helen Myers Scholarship, Greenberg-Gurney-Jensen Scholarship and Henderson Travellers Scholarship.  Natasha is also a current recipient of the 2025 American Australian Arts Fund.  Natasha has extensive experience as both an operatic artist and a concert soloist. Most recently she performed as a 2024 Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Artist, debuting the role of "Deirdre" from Gregory Spears' new opera The Righteous.
